In 2025, I'll be helping 20 new parents savour their new baby's early days through a luxury photoshoot experience.

As a mom of three myself, I can attest that time is a thief. Though you may be in a haze of sleep deprivation and life transition, your new baby is a source of joy and wonder in it all. But they grow and change so fast at this stage, and in the blink of an eye they're learning to sit and crawl, getting their first teeth and starting solids. I want to help you savour these early days with a luxury portrait session that allows you to hold onto all the things about this stage that fill your heart to bursting.

How much does it cost?

I am offering Baby's First Portrait Experience for $499. The total value is over $1200. 

What does the $499 include?

  • CONSULTATION: To discuss how YOU want to be photographed and to plan the wardrobe & styling. 
  • PROFESSIONAL HAIR AND MAKE UP
  • 60-90 MINUTE CUSTOM SESSION
  • IMAGE REVEAL SESSION: Where you see your images at the studio & select your gifted image/order your favourites 14 days after your photo shoot. 
  • PORTRAIT OF YOUR CHOICE: You will receive one fine art matted portrait with matching high res digital image (a $275 value) as well as 25 Custom designed Birth announcements. 
  • OPTION TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL ARTWORK: I offer prints, albums, wall art and folio albums in case you fall in love with more images! Individual images start at $275.
  • YOU'LL BE CELEBRATED IN MY NOVEMBER 2025 MOM AND BABY EVENT: When the portrait series is complete in November 2025, you will be celebrated in an exhibition featuring a portrait of each of the amazing 20 new parents and their families that I have photographed.
  • A donation to BC Children's Hospital Foundation

Why new babies, why me and why now?

I have three little ones myself. Last June, my oldest turned 8 and started asking for things like jewelry and purses instead of dolls. Then my middle lost his first tooth, and early in January I had to register my youngest for Kindergarten.

As my kids grow, I find I spend more and more time pouring over images of my kids when they were tiny - particularly their newborn images trying to remind myself what it felt like to have them fall asleep on my chest, grasp their little toes, and hang out in a carrier while I did dishes or ran errands.

I’m photographing new parents with their newborns this year because you deserve to be able to hold onto those moments. You deserve to be able to feel the joy of this itty bitty person who is completely dependent on you, who relies on you completely for all their needs and fills your heart until it feels like it might burst.

YOUR STORY VIDEO INTERVIEW with Kelly, answering questions about what Motherhood means to you, the things you love most about your little one and advice to new and expectant moms. Your story will be used to showcase the portrait series at the Mom and Baby event and in promotional materials including on our website, blog and social media platforms so we can share how AMAZING you are with the world. 

That interview may be shared on my website, blog and social media. 

 Before and After makeover photos may be shown.
